StaffIo has a finely granular role and permission system built on Spatie Permission. Every action is backed by a specific permission, and every change leaves an audit trail.

• Sixty-eight permissions split across eighteen domains (events, staff, hierarchy, chat, voice, tasks, incidents, inventory, billing, safety, and more).
• A nine-role system with a complete permission matrix – from SuperAdmin down to a worker in the field.
• Custom roles per organization; system roles are protected and immutable.
• Hierarchy-scoped visibility – a supervisor sees only their downstream subtree on the map.
• An audit log of every change (Spatie ActivityLog), partitioned monthly per organization.
